Had a great evening watching and photographing the eclipse through a welding helmet! We started watching from the backyard but soon realized the sun would dip beneath the trees on the other side of the canyon. So we picked up and moved over to the same place at Montgomery Field we viewed the lunar eclipse from Dec. 2011. It was mostly perfect…although the sun began dipping below the fence line near the end.
